2022 Rally

The 2022 Trans+ Pride rally was the first ever Trans Pride event in Cork. With the theme "Pride is a Protest", the event was organised in full in less than 10 days.

In June 2022, RTÉ held a 3-day debate on Joe Duffy's Liveline on transgender rights - yet another attempt to debate our existence in national media. It was these sets of debates that prompted us to launch Trans+ Pride Cork in response.

The event was a great success with speakers including:

and a number of national media organisations in attendance.
